
Wiiscience is a international collaborative project between two universities and two schools in Sweden and in the United States.
The Physical Interactions Group at Stanford's d.school is working with the Nueva School's 6th grade physics classes to harness gaming technologies for scientific inquiry. Researchers, teachers and students contribute to the design and develop software and activities that will enable other teachers to use gaming technologies, such as the wiimote, for data collection in classrooms.
The School of Communication, Media and IT at Södertörn University in Sweden is partnered with the Årstadalsskolan elementary school, for children between the ages of 6 and 11 and situated in the southern part of Stockholm.
